WHAT IS ACUPUNCTURE?

The human body has the amazing ability to self-heal and acupuncture help improve and promote the function to restore health through stimulating acupuncture points by inserting fine sterilized disposable(one time use) needles. Heat, pressure, or mild electrical current is used along with needles to maximize an effect in the body.

Acupuncture(also known as Oriental Medicine) started about twenty-three hundred years ago in Asia. Therefore, acupuncturists have been treating people for a very long time.

IS ACUPUNCTURE PAINFUL?

Acupuncture needles are fine as a piece of thread. When the needles are inserted by a skilled acupuncturist, most patients experience little or no sensation at all. While needles are retained, patients may have a slight tingling sensation along the points. First-time patients are usually amazed at how comfortable and relaxed they are during treatment.

"My first experience was very good. Megan listened to my problems very carefully and was very thorough in explaining the treatment"

- Wagas S.

"Megan was very knowledgeable and helpful to me. She answered all my questions and provided me relief for my pain. I haven't tried the herbs yet but I am planning to. I highly recommend her" - Kamelia W.

"Decided to try acupuncture for chronic neck pain (5+ years) due to sitting at a desk all day looking down.  Tried massage and chiropractic care with minimal relief.  Megan is close to getting me pain free.  She seems to genuinely care about my well being.  She is always asking for feedback to better her treatment.  Since I had such relief from neck pain I asked her to also treat my chronic lower back pain (30+ years).  She has made significant progress in managing this pain as well.  She takes a whole body approach while treating the affected area.  She even convinced me to change my diet a little" - Wes N.

"I am an RN of 42 years. I am well versed in western medicine. I was deeply impressed with the care I received from Megan. She was calming, informative and deeply professional. Her physical exam called out issues that have been diagnosed previously with terribly expensive machines and procedures. I had acupuncture. The  procedure  itself was not painful, and the results were good. I highly recommend this clinic" - Yvonne S.
